When they say do what you love, that is exactly what started the story of Householder Repair. Going from tinkering with small engines as a child to pretty much building the engine of his first car, Donald has always had self driven interest in vehicles. Donald attended Washington County Career Studies Center and studied Automotive Technology, in which he excelled lead of his class. He pursued several ASE certifications and several privately held courses for automotive diagnostics. After graduating he worked at several auto dealers and private garages; GM, Toyota, Nissan, New Holland AG, Honda to name a few. While working for shops he worked out of his home garage for about 10 years with the hope to start his own business one day. He took the very nervous leap into renting a single bay in a four bay garage and starting the journey of becoming a business owner. The ongoing success and perseverance brings us to where we are today, an honest, reliable, straight forward shop that strives to please its customers and to gain many more that can contribute to its continuing success!
